Welcome to the Growth Book App, an educational platform designed to help parents monitor and track their child’s growth and development. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our app. By accessing or using the Growth Book App, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please do not use the application.

1. Educational Purpose

  • The Growth Book App provides general information, health tips, and tools to track a child’s growth and development. All information, including health-related content, is prepared by qualified doctors and professionals.
  • This app is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making any decisions based on the information provided by this app.
  • Growth Book App will not be held responsible for any adverse events arising from the use of this information.

2. Vaccination Tracker

  • The Vaccination Tracker includes vaccines from the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP), India, as well as vaccination schedules from several other countries based on reputable website sources.
  • We strive to keep the vaccination schedules up-to-date; however, the information may not always reflect the latest updates or changes. Always verify the recommended vaccine list and schedule with your pediatrician before making any decisions regarding your child’s immunization.

3. Copyright and Usage

  • All content, including images, videos, text, and tools, are copyrighted by Growth Book App. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content for commercial or professional purposes is strictly prohibited.

4. WhatsApp Group Usage

  • Growth Book App offers access to WhatsApp groups for user support and discussion.
  • If any misuse or inappropriate behavior is reported from a user within a WhatsApp group, Growth Book App reserves the right to remove and block the user from all groups.
  • Growth Book App is not liable for any misconduct or mischief caused by one user to another within the WhatsApp group.

5. Information Sources

The information in this app has been gathered from reputable sources including, but not limited to:

  • Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
  • Park’s Textbook of Preventive and Social Medicine
  • Indian Academy of Pediatrics
  • American Academy of Pediatrics
  • United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)
  • American Dental Association
  • Indian Dental Association

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • “Consultant” refers to any doctor or healthcare professional listed on the Growth Book App, and “User” refers to a registered user who books consultations via the app.

Refunds:

  1. If a User books a paid consultation and the Consultant fails to meet the User, the User must notify us at growthbookapp@gmail.com within seven (7) days. The full consultation fee will be refunded within seven (7) business days via the original payment method.
  2. If a User wishes to cancel an appointment, they must inform us at least four (4) hours before the scheduled consultation at growthbookapp@gmail.com. In such cases, the User will receive a refund minus applicable bank charges.
  3. No refund will be provided if a Practitioner is late or if the User decides not to proceed with the consultation after the scheduled time. However, the User will be offered the opportunity to reschedule the consultation without extra charge.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Growth Book App, its team, and affiliates are not responsible for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or adverse outcomes that may arise from using the app or its content.
  • Growth Book App is not responsible for any user misconduct, including inappropriate behavior, harassment, or mischief between users on the WhatsApp groups.

8. Jurisdiction

  • Any legal disputes or proceedings arising out of the use of Growth Book App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

9. Amendments

  • Growth Book App reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review the terms regularly.
